The Rise of Psychedelic Shamanism

Currently, there is still a heavy, state and private organization biased push towards natural substances either becoming or remaining illegal while pharmaceutical drugs being fully accepted and legal in the USA, even as new evidence mounts to the efficacy of pure plant medicine from Nature.

Much of American culture, including the medical establishment, is focused primarily on death and perhaps there many people who know more about this than I. You can see the outcome of our collective suicidal tendency everyday, in the way we work, in the way we go about life and the decisions made, with results rarely for the good of the whole in the long run, but just for a select chosen few and for a short amount of time.

I might argue our society actually died some time ago and we are now just living on the fermentation before the rise of AI government, as we long for the memories of the "good old days" before “the Matrix” and geoengineering took hold. In time, the Earth will breakdown and digest the culture of death that surrounds us.

I feel called back into the arms of Nature now.  I welcome everyone, as a community, to break the laws of a dead civilization, that was never meant to work for us from the beginning, as it obviously harms us and the Earth.

The first steps for the creation of personal liberty, revolution, sovereignty and self-determination from within a dead society includes taking substances found in Nature to alleviate pain and stimulate growth instead of the force-fed drugs and chemicals from the medical industrial complex.

For example, Mushrooms both magic and medicinal, Cactus such as Peyote, Salvia Divinorum, Marijuana, Kratom, Kava and a whole lot more plants and minerals can transform your life from the government or society, the rulership of fear into the place of independence and empowerment, purpose and authentic joy.

Now is the time to uprise and embody your whole, healthy self. I am vegan, completed deep cleanses and currently teach astrology/tarot classes in Las Vegas, all stemming from the recent visions I received while journeying with magic cactus. I saw we could no longer defend the corpse of our nation or fight amongst ourselves for the bones.

I have shared articles and conversations about microdosing with mushrooms for anxiety and depression so that people can see how to cope with regular work and "adulting" daily. Relationship and childhood trauma breakthroughs become possible with these natural therapies, transforming unhealthly mental, emotional, spiritual and physical patterns.

Everyone benefits when we are open about our usage and communion with natural substances. Having a practitioner of shamanism or spiritual counseling who understands the process "sit" with you while you journey can have profound impacts on your healing experience. At mushroomshaman.com we welcome these conversations and the experience where we sit with you during the journey or we can recommend a safe practitioner. While we can't yet provide these entheogens for you, you can find them in your own way. When you do, we are ready to hear from you. Here’s to your awakening!

Yoga Swami and Encinitas History

Readers and Yoga Adventurers, Just recently called the Yoga Mecca of the USA, Encinitas CA and Yoga Swami (where I teach two days a week) are special and are a must visit for any yoga adventurers. See the article in the winter 2008 copy of the Encinitas magazine. http://www.encinitasmag.com/about.html Encinitas, Swami's Surf Spot, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, and Leucadia...can be consider spiritual vortex hotspots. This evident in the number of places to worship just on the coast (west of hwy 101) near the cliffside beachs or Swami's and Moonlight. So my mother's family (mexican americans) lived in Encinitas during the period of time when Paramahansa Yogananda (the Swami that Swami's is named after). This time period was about the 1930's- 1940's. At this time Encinitas, was well liked by Swami Yogananda and he settled there for sometime. Swami Yogananda was a capricorn and he was a very involved meditator and yoga practicioner. His foundation still exists in E...

Dreaming the Dark Times 3: Salvia and Mushrooms for Seers

Salvia the diviner’s mint, is one of the most powerful psychedelics in the natural world. It along with Magic Mushrooms are used traditionally by Meso-American shamans (Mazatepec, Mazatec, Zapotec, etc) and my ancestors for purposes of healing and visions. Unequivocally, magic mushrooms which are containers of psilocin, psilocybin and baeocystin have been consumed by nearly all our ancestors including lighter skinned and nordic peoples. Salvia has only recently become a whole world phenomenon with many places banning it. Most western people take salvia as an extracted smoke, while most people in history chewed the leaves and burned them dried and unextracted. Salvia when taken orally as opposed to smoking seems to be the best focus of this article on dreaming. Some psychedelic effects are possible with this method especially if you are holding your saliva (spit) in your mouth for at least 20 minutes along with the herb or extract. Most of these are spiritual, central nervous syst...

Journey of Las Medicinas y Church of the Sacred Spiral

Dear Friends, Some of you joined us and many of you heard that last weekend we completed a beautiful series on the Magic Cactus with our Ethnobotany students. I held space along with some of my dearest friends and presented a series of Neo-Shamanic altars and rituals. The divine Earth we walked upon for our journey to healing was a blessed and sacred site that my family owns on the back side Palomar Mountain. As we got out of the city and into the country, I prayed for perfect weather and perfect community. Sunday throughout the ritual and the hiking that preceded said ritual, I was overwhelmed with GRACE for those who chose to stay behind and not attend this journey. I honored their path and allow them to continued to build trust in themselves and the medicine work and in nature and weather. When we arrived, the weather was perfect and mild and incredibly...there was rain everywhere except for where we hiked. All week and the day before, people were scared of bad weather and hard time...
