Dear New Friends in Phoenix and Tempe, We just had a very busy week. Personally, work weekends through Wednesday and am having a wonderful time with my new home, job and business in Tempe. I never really knew much about Mill Ave and ASU until week before last. Another new thing for me is the orbit bus system with all of it's planetary names. I found myself asking fellow riders about their birthdays and held one conversation in which I went so far as to purpose the idea that the first days of Mercury Retrograde would likely be the days when the "Orbit Mercury" bus has the most issues with it's normal route. We may never know, but there is one thing for sure: Mercury is returning to normal from now to Dec. 19th. 2012. It's still in the awkward phase after being in "retrograde." Have you read this novel? Dune is one of the must reads for anyone growing up in this era of transformation and technology. It was created by Frank Herbert in the 1960s and it still has meaning (in addition to some of the highest ratings for Best Sci Fiction book and audio book). Personally I've read every Dune story written by Frank Herbert and many of them written by his son Brian. I've chosen a few quotes for you below that seem to represent the changes that have come to news during the Obama administration 2012. Ska Maria Pastora, the Shepherdess or Salvia Divinorum is a sacred entheogenic plant of the peoples of Mexico in the mint family. It was used long ago, mostly likely, by the Maya, Zapotec, Aztec and Omec. When I feel inclined and often times when I am conducting a ceremony among friends with the medicine of the peoples of this land, I am most moved my the ancestors of this land. I am going now, without plans to return. I will pass through the lands of my heritage and great many of the spirits of the Maya. This is the year of the quickening, the curtain fall and the great awakening. I won't be unreachable or unattainable, I'll just be on a voyage. When I arrive O how I intend to build and create: For my family and future generations I will plant and gather resources of natural things and good and growing things. We will create and Olive tree grove, a cacao tree plantation, myco-scapes and mushroom bio remediation, and several tea plant gardens with various aged trees/shrubs of the camillia sinensis species. I feel the future is seeking deliberate actions that orient humans and nature on this planet as strong allies or else co-existence will cease.
